About the Blue Ridge Bakery
In 2004 we sold our restaurant in Charlotte to fulfill our dream of living in North Carolina's beautiful mountains. We planned to open a restaurant here in Brevard, but when we arrived we discovered there were a lot of nice restaurants - but no place where you could buy a really good, from-scratch, decorated-to-your-specifications cake for a birthday or another special occasion. Since baking had always been our favorite part of our restaurant and catering business, we knew what we had to do...

And here we are, baking cakes, and cookies, and pastry - and now serving lunches and catering your office and home events as well. We bake fresh every day, using local ingredients whenever possible. We shop at the tailgate market across from our store in the summer, get our eggs from the Future Farmers club at the high school, and feature local produce when it's at its best.
We know we made the right choice - Brevard is a great place to be! We surely appreciate all our friends and customers and we thank you for making Brevard a place we are proud to call home!
We have live music Friday mornings, thanks to John Carter, Don Burger, and anyone else who cares to join in.

Here's a great way to break the winter doldrums! Two great classes - Greek Cooking & Around the World with Bread!
Greek Cooking meets on Wednesday evenings, March 3, 10, and 17. 5:30 - 7:30, at the Blue Ridge Bakery. Learn some basic Greek cooking, while meeting new friends and eating great food!

Three-class session is $75 and includes recipes to take home, and extensive tasting. Come hungry!

Around the World with Bread meets on Tuesday evenings, March 2, 9, and 16. 5:30 - 7:30, at the Blue Ridge Bakery. Come learn about breads and some of the history they evoke all while getting your hands dirty!
