In 2004, we sold our restaurant in Charlotte to fulfill our dream of living in North Carolina's beautiful mountains. We planned to open a restaurant in Brevard, but when we arrived we discovered there were a lot of nice restaurants - but no place where you could buy a really good, from-scratch, decorated-to-your-specifications cake for a birthday or another special occasion.
