Our Story

From Charlotte to the Mountains

In 2004, Katina and John sold their restaurant in Charlotte to chase a simpler dream in North Carolina's beautiful mountains. When they landed in Brevard, they found plenty of great places to eat, but not a go to spot for a truly from scratch made cake, decorated to match your celebration. Baking had always been a favorite part of the business, so they leaned into what they loved most. Today, we are still here on Main Street baking fresh cakes, cookies, and pastries every day, serving lunch, and catering for events. We use local ingredients whenever we can, and we're grateful for the friends and customers who've made Blue Ridge Bakery feel like home.
