After Katina and John retired in 2025, Alexia and David Blackwell took ownership. Both of them boast impressive backgrounds in food service and have been beloved residents of Transylvania County for many years. Their paths crossed in 2000 when David was the kitchen manager at Casey Jones, and that same year, Alexia began the culinary program at AB Tech, earning her Baking and Pastry Diploma. They tied the knot in 2014.
Alexia's extensive experience in food service was followed by a daring leap into law enforcement, her second passion. David's military service provided him with the skills and determination to thrive in the high-energy world of restaurants. Like Alexia, he eventually took a break from food service to explore new careers. With Katina and John ready to retire, passing ownership to Alexia and David was the perfect choice to keep it local and family-run.
